The youngest Kaleidoscope campers (Lower Camp, grades K-3) sample a wide variety of age-appropriate camp activities as they travel with their groups to different specialists throughout the day. As campers mature (Upper Camp, grades 4-8), they participate in a variety of activities with their groups, as well as choosing from a long list of electives to fill out their schedules. (See our activities above!)

Each four-week session culminates in Arts Nite, a special evening to highlight our campers’ talents and accomplishments. Fully staged musicals are performed on our professionally equipped stage, and campers’ artistic creations are installed throughout the JCC in a major multimedia exhibition.

When camp ends at 4pm, campers enrolled in Kaleidoscope’s extended day program stay at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC and enjoy snack and a variety of projects and activities. Campers may sign up for the entire session or schedule days as needed, space permitting, by paying a drop-in fee. Please check off the appropriate box on the Registration Form to secure a spot for your camper.
