Leadership and Staff

Ronit Ben-Shir, ELC Director

Ronit Ben-Shir opened the JCC Early Learning Center in Acton in 2002 and is currently Director. She is a seasoned early childhood educator with over 17 years of experience, whose first priority is to get to know every child and support every family. She has a B.A. and an M.A. in Education from Haifa University and Oranim School of Education in Tivon, Israel.

Staff

The JCC ELC Summer Program is staffed by experienced Early Learning Teachers who are members of our year-round staff. The same teachers have been staffing the JCC ELC Summer Program for the past several years. All staff is Early Childhood trained and all follow the Massachusetts guidelines for Education for Young Children.

Specialists

We bring in outside specialists trained in providing extra curricular programming for young children.
