Health and Safety
The health and safety of our children is of primary concern. Every
precaution is taken to safeguard the physical and emotional well being
of each child in our Summer Fun Program.. We have an on-call physician.
Our staff is first-aid and CPR certified. Medical forms are required
from all program participants prior to the start of our summer programs
and must be valid within the past 12 months.
Allergy Policy:
The Center is nut-free and we work with families regarding all kinds
of allergy needs. All snacks served by the JCC Early Learning Center do
not contain nuts, eggs or dairy. All food purchased by the JCC
for snack must come with labels to ensure the safety of the children in
our program Children are not allowed to share their food from home to
ensure that safety is maintained for everyone.
All teachers are trained to use EpiPens and each child requiring an
Epi-Pen must have their own labeled pen. Teachers carry a first aid bag
with general supplies in addition to children’s specific medical items,
including EpiPens, and Emergency forms when they go outside.
Fire Drills:
Fire drills are conducted once a month
