Indira Herscovici, ELC Director

Indira has been with the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston since 1997 when she joined the organization as the Director of the JCC Early Learning Center in Brookline/Brighton. Indira holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University, and has more than 20 years of experience in the field.

As the Director of the Brookline program, she is responsible for the vision as well as the supervision and development of both the Judaic and secular curricula of the overall program. She also supervises the professional staff members of the preschool. Indira participates in the Bureau of Jewish Education's Early Childhood Director's Institute, and is an active member of NAEYC.

Lead Teacher Curriculum Coordinator

We have a full-time Lead Teacher Curriculum Coordinator that works with our staff year round. Most of our summer teachers also work with us during the regular school year.
