Anne Spector, Center Director
When Anne was at Boston University's School of Education, she knew then that working with young children was her professional goal. Anne has worked in Jewish Early Childhood Education for the past 28 years and has been with the Greater Boston Jewish Community Center for the last fourteen years. Anne is actively involved in enhancing both her Jewish and Early Childhood knowledge. She participated in the Boston-Haifa Early Childhood Connection and continuously reaches out in the community. She does this by taking part in the Wayland Community Partnership Council, participating in family education programs at Temple Shir Tikva, and attending local workshops and seminars.
A native of Norfolk, Virginia, a mother of two children, and a
“grammy” to five wonderful grandchildren, Anne loves greeting her 85
enthusiastic preschoolers daily. Seeing the spark in the children's
eyes, while working with her dedicated staff and wonderful parents,
make each day at the JCC Early Learning Center in Wayland extraordinarily special.
Pam Carrara, Summer Program Director
Pam has been employed by the JCC for over 20 years as a lead teacher during the school year and the director during the summer months. Well known in the community, Pam is highly respected as a teacher who provides a warm nurturing environment for all her students/campers. She is constantly thinking ahead in planning fun “themes” and activities for the summer program.
