About Us

A day camp of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, JCC Grossman Camp has proudly been the summer home to boys and girls ages 4-1/2 to 15 for over 40 years. Situated on 75 acres of the Hale Reservation in Westwood, Grossman offers an age-appropriate general camping program with just the right balance of flexibility and options for pursuing individual interests in sports, the arts, athletics, and more.

Grossman staff and campers share a sense of Jewish pride. Jewish themes are woven through camp life: in our varied cultural arts program (music, Israeli dance, and arts and crafts); through our singing, in camp and on the buses; and at our weekly Oneg Shabbat festivities.

The relationships we build at camp transform our facilities into a vibrant community each summer. And that community extends to parents and family members, who participate in wonderful Grossman traditions like Family Night, when the program includes special performances, activities and a dip in our lake!
