Camp Life

Jewish Life

Grossman campers and staff come from a wide variety of backgrounds: observant, secular, and/or interfaith; a minority are from other faiths but have an interest in Jewish community life. This sense of community is woven through camp life: in the cultural arts program (music, Israeli dance, and arts and crafts); through our singing, and at our weekly Oneg Shabbat festivities.

No particular level of education or familiarity with these practices is expected. We take care to teach the dances, song lyrics and blessings over our food so that everyone can participate. Just come and bring your spirit!
