Specialty Programs
At JCC Grossman Camp we also have specialized programs to meet your camper’s needs:
Special Needs
Grossman’s inclusive program offers campers with mild to moderate disabilities a regular camp program under the guidance of experienced counselors. There is also the opportunity for inclusion with extra support. A limited number of spaces are available for this program and interviews are required. Contact Diane Saltzberg at (617) 244-5124 or for more information on this program.

Kehilla (for observant campers entering grades K-10);
Kehilla Kibbutz (grades 6-9)
Designed to provide a camping experience combined with traditional Jewish practice, Kehilla emphasizes experiences that foster the observance of mitzvoth. Kehilla campers participate in all camp activities along with scheduled periods of worship and Torah study. In Kehilla Kibbutz,
campers participate in both these traditional Jewish activities and Kibbutz life.
Kibbutz Grossman (entering grades 8 and 9)
This four- to eight-week program gives children an opportunity to experience Kibbutz life with emphasis on developing a sense of community and responsibility. Campers prepare delicious meals, help the community, and even handle work assignments! They also participate in camp activities and intra-camp competitions. Kibbutzniks stay overnight one or two nights a week. In the Kibbutz, each camper takes on an equal share of cooking, cleaning and overall decision-making. Evening programming includes out-of-camp trips.
Counselor-In-Training Program (entering grade 10)
While building leadership and communication skills, Counselors-In-Training (CITs) will learn the tools necessary to become a counselor. CITs are assigned work with groups of campers, under supervision, in addition to their own recreational activities and skill sessions. Most of our Junior Counselors are graduates of our CIT program.
9th Week (5 - 12 years)
Designed for families that need coverage between the end of camp and beginning of school, the Ninth Week follows the regular camp season and provides a longer day, with central pickups and drop-offs available in Newton, Stoughton, Brookline, Lexington, Sharon, Framingham and Natick.
