icamp Technology Camp at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC

This is not your ordinary day camp

Computer game design, robotics, engineering, programming, digital design, music creation, movie production, news casting, and animation are some of the exciting possibilities for kids in icamp, where the fun and learning never stop. Campers create their own experience by choosing one of 11 cool adventure themes: Architect, Fashion Designer, Team F1, Rescue, Olympics, Medieval, Gamemaker Guru, Animation Alive, Music Mogul, Expedition to Egypt, or Mission to Mars.

For each adventure, campers can choose from our extensive library of project plans as they create a story about their adventure with the expert help of our Adventure Guides. The wide range of project plans in our library suits a variety of ages, areas of interest and skill levels to maximize the fun and the thrill of success. All projects culminate in a final 2-3 minute video, presented at the Friday Showcase to the entire group. Parents are invited for the Friday Showcase.

Available to day campers finishing grades 2-8 (7 to 14 years), the icamp curriculum encourages creative thinking through age-appropriate projects designed to maximize the fun—with outdoor breaks and group games throughout the day to complement individual exploration.
