There are six JCC
Early Learning
Center locations in the Greater Boston area: Acton, Brookline,
Newton (2 sites), Stoughton, and Wayland. Each strives to create a
vibrant, engaging, educational environment based on Derekh Eretz, a
Hebrew term for a code of behavior where everyone is treated with
respect. In that spirit, we nurture the minds, bodies and spirits of
children, embrace families, mentor teachers-and, in every way possible,
bring out the best in our community.
We are committed to the principles of a quality early learning
experience, which include providing professional development for
teachers, maintaining
small group sizes and good teacher:child ratios, exceeding national and
state standards, and supporting children and their families. Our
Centers have a strong reputation for teaching Jewish values based in
Jewish traditions and experiences.
Accreditation
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
accredits programs that adhere to their stringent "Criteria for
High-Quality Early Childhood Program" standards. All of our centers are
either accredited or in the process of achieving their accreditation.
Accreditation is the highest mark of quality in our field, and the
NAEYC standards not only guide us; they help parents feel confident
that the centers are providing a safe and nurturing environment that
promotes the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development
of young children. All of our programs are licensed by the
Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC).
Our Centers
The Centers share a philosophy and curriculum, but each has a different
personality, hours and tuition. Tuition adjustment is available based
on financial need. For more information, please visit us at www.jccearlylearning.org.
