The PJ Library (yes, PJ as in pajamas) is a Jewish journey through books and reading. Each participating family receives a monthly mailing of a Jewish children's book or musical CD. Selections feature a wide array of themes such as Jewish holidays, folktales and Jewish family life. Along with the books and music, families will receive parenting resources to enhance the reading experience.
The PJ Library is a national project created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and is administered locally by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, with additional generous funding from local donors.
The PJ Library program of Greater Boston is available to children from birth through age 5 living in over 97 communities in the Greater Boston area.
