The JCC Office, MetroWest (MWJCC), with offices located in Framingham, offers programs throughout the area, including holiday celebrations, interfaith programs, parenting workshops, special needs and senior programs and travel, and partners with the MetroWest community for events such as Boston Jewish Film Festival MetroWest and the Israel Independence Day Celebration.
MWJCC's outdoor pool facility, JCC Clearbrook offers families, friends and community a unique place to meet, lounge, swim, socialize, enjoy lunch or dinner (or both!) at our kosher poolside café-and take a break in our Rec Room, where music, games, table tennis and foosball are readily available.

PASSOVER FAMILY EVENT:
Why is This Night Different
NATICK, MA – A family event called Why Is This Night Different, to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover, will be held at Kennedy Middle School (165 Mill Street) in Natick on Sunday, March 14 from 10-11:30am.
Activities include a musical telling of the Passover story featuring children’s entertainer Wayne Potash, creative Passover crafts, tips for making a child-friendly seder, and The PJ Library book corner. The event is open to the entire community and geared for children up to age 6. Cost is $10 per family.

A free, interactive workshop for parents
A free workshop for adults to learn how to prepare a fun, family Passover seder. This is a hands-on workshop where you'll learn songs and activities that can help your Seder become a fun, learning experience for all ages.
Workshop will be taught by Nancy Fried-Tanzer, Jewish Family Educator.

Create your own family traditions with
Shabbat in a Box: A four week class for parents and children ages 2-4 starting March 5
Shabbat can be a special time for families to be together; a time that children can look
forward to celebrating each week. Join with
other families as you explore ideas to create
your family’s own Shabbat traditions. During
this four week class, you and your child will
make a Shabbat Box; complete with everything
you need to welcome in Shabbat in your home.
Learn about Shabbat through art projects and PJ Library® stories. The session will conclude with a special Shabbat “dinner.”
Open to the entire community. Interfaith families, single parents, people with disabilities and GLBT families are welcome.

Shalom Friends Class for Parents and
Young Children in
Wayland
An eight-week, interactive music, movement and storytime program with a Jewish twist for young children and their parents will be offered at Congregation Or Atid beginning March 7.
Shalom Friends invites children five years of age and younger and their parents to sing and move to music, engage in arts and crafts projects, listen to stories, play with instruments, dance with scarves and learn about Shabbat, Israel and holiday celebrations. Participants receive an original music CD and an accompanying music book that includes the same music they hear in class.
Shalom Friends meets on Sundays, from 10am-11am. Congregation Or Atid is located at 97 Concord Road in Wayland. Cost is $120/child and $60 for each additional sibling. The class is open to the entire community. No previous Jewish experience necessary. Shalom Friends is a program presented by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston. The Acton Center is strongly family-centered and values diversity. The curriculum is inspired by the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia, an approach that views children constructing knowledge through active inquiry, discovery and reflection. Toddler (15 months), pre-school, pre-kindergarten and extended kindergarten programs are offered. Full year, school year, full week and part week schedules are available. NAEYC accredited. The Wayland Center is a state-of-the-art facility with an adventure playground and a large gross-motor activity room. Weekly sessions with music and gym specialists and opportunities for after-school classes offer students access to a wide range of activities and interactions. Wayland is a school year, morning program for toddlers (2 years by September 1) and preschool, with early drop-off and extended day available. Summer programs are also offered. NAEYC accredited.

The JCC Clearbrook outdoor pool offers families, friends and community a unique place to meet, lounge, swim, socialize, enjoy lunch or dinner (or both!) at our kosher poolside café-and take a break in our Rec Room, where music, games, table tennis and foosball are readily available. Clearbrook activities also include weekly Friday celebrations to welcome Shabbat with songs and snacks; a new members' ice cream social; organized afternoon arts and crafts; American Red Cross private and group swimming lessons; annual summer carnival and Maccabi/Olympics; family barbecues; and more. The pool is also an ideal spot for birthday parties and other special events!
JCC Clearbrook is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.
